Gazprom plans to keep dividends in 2018–2020 at least flat on year
MOSCOW, Aug 30 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom will maintain dividends at least flat on the year in rubles, it said on Wednesday after a meeting of its board of directors, which discussed dividend policies for 2018-2020.
“Gazprom tries to ensure the level of dividend payouts in rubles at least flat on the year. While making decisions on dividends, it has to take into account the situation at international energy and financial markets, as well as the ratio of coverage of net profit with free cash flow, scheduled debt redemptions of Gazprom, and also demand of the company in financing simultaneous implementation of large-scale investment projects,” Gazprom said.
In June, Gazprom owners approved payment of 8.04 rubles per share, or a total of 190.327 billion rubles, in dividends for 2016, up 1.9% on the year.
